Mental Talk – Peer Support Group: Living with Anxiety
Join us on a Mental Talk that will focus on what it is like to live with anxiety. Anxiety can be good for us but when it reaches some extremes, it can have negative effects on our mental health. It can impact the way we live, the way we interact, even the way we sleep. Join us to talk about in which ways anxiety has impacted your life, which coping mechanisms have helped you, and what you wish other people would know.
About Mental Talk: Good Mental Health is all about talking, sharing, and listening to one another. What better way to share life experiences in a supportive peer and topic lead group. Topics will range from work, family, caregivers and life balance, meditation, chronic pain, self-care, stress, racism (Transgenerational Trauma) depression, and more. Mental Talk is for someone who believes peer mental health support is important. This group is open, honest, and willing to share in a supportive environment. No judgment. Always kindness.
