From now to the end of 2015, I’m on a mission to help three Chicago local homeless shelters with goods. (Lincoln Park Shelter, Sarah’s Circle and Cornerstone Community Outreach) The goal is to help offset some of the most basic needs, that are forgotten when it comes to surviving daily living for the homeless population which includes many families with children.
With your help, we can make a difference to the men and women who are trying to get back on their feet—due to job loss, domestic abuse, personal hardship such as physical and mental health issues and/or a major life event.
Facts about the Homelessness
Many homeless people are trying every day to find a job, improve their work and life skills or seek help for mental stress? To help by donating funds or goods like socks, toothpaste, deodorant and shaving cream—just to name a few. Items like these can be the difference in improving self-esteem, landing that important interview or just to improve overall health and well-being.
Together we can give assistance and bring hope and support to someone in need. Please donate so AJW Foundation can help in small ways, but making a large difference in the lives of people living with a mental health crisis or disorder.
Cheers,
