Mental Talk – Peer Support Group: Chronic Illness and Mental Health
Chronic illness can be extremely isolating. Not only can managing the symptoms be difficult but friends and family often don’t understand. All of this can lead to struggles with mental health that only add to the problem. Come join us to discuss your experiences with like-minded people. Gain support for your struggles and share your triumphs with those with similar backgrounds.
About Mental Talk: Good Mental Health is all about talking, sharing, and listening to one another. What better way to share life experiences in a supportive peer and topic lead group. Topics will range from work, family, caregivers and life balance, meditation, chronic pain, self-care, stress, racism (Transgenerational Trauma) depression, and more. Mental Talk is for someone who believes peer mental health support is important. This group is open, honest, and willing to share in a supportive environment. No judgment. Always kindness.
