Mental Talk – Peer Support Group: Mental Health in Times of COVID-19
The COVID-19 crisis has brought up a lot of tension around the world, it has impacted our work, home, family, and friends. Join us in a discussion on how has the pandemic has affected taking care of our mental health and what are some ways in which we can learn how to cope and take care of ourselves during these stressful times.
About Mental Talk: Good Mental Health is all about talking, sharing, and listening to one another. What better way to share life experiences in a supportive peer and topic lead group. Topics will range from work, family, caregivers and life balance, meditation, chronic pain, self-care, stress, racism (Transgenerational Trauma) depression, and more. Mental Talk is for someone who believes peer mental health support is important. This group is open, honest, and willing to share in a supportive environment. No judgment. Always kindness.
Providing Interactive Support and Services
Mental health touches a variety of groups and backgrounds. Our goal is to make life easier for all individuals and families dealing with mental health issues during stress and crisis during our COVID-19 times of Social Distancing.
We use Google Meet and can hold 150 people but most likely meetings will be between 5-25 people. Best experience using Google Chrome Browser. Check your computer audio before workshop times for the best results.
