Workshop: Journal Jar: Encouraging Daily Mindfulness

Did you know that journaling can improve your mood and memory? Harvard researchers suggest that keeping a journal can be good for your mental health, but journaling can be challenging sometimes! What can I write about? When can I find the time?

In this workshop, we will create a daily journal jar and fill it with one month of journal ideas to remind us to dust off those empty journals and put them to good use. We’ll also go over some tips to encourage you to make journaling a part of your daily routine.

What you will need:

  • Small jar or container
  • Something to write with (pens, markers, etc)
  • Paper to write on (construction paper, printer paper, or notebook paper)
  • Scissors
